Trailhead: N 44° 16.108' W 71° 1.206'
Day 1 (10.7mi) Starting west bound on Basin Trail to the Basin Ridge Trail, then south along the ridge to to Meader Ridge Trail, then west of the eagle link trail at the eagle crag. Wild River trail, first night at Perkins Notch.

Day 2 (10.4mi) Head up to Carter Dome via Rainbow and either Carter Moriah or Carter Dome trail. I'm not sure what it is called along this section. From there catch the view on Mt Hight, 4mi. Lunch break might be good here. Head back down and onto the Black Angel trail. There will be a lot of blowdowns for the first 1/2 according to a trail report from June 2. Find camping towards bottom of Black Angel trail, or continue to the Spruce Brook Tentsite.

Day 3 (6.1mi) Head back up to the Black Angel trail then east. Along the way visit the Blue Brook Tentsite to check it out for future trips. Continue up to the intersection of Black Angel, Basic Rim and Basin trails. Car is at the end of the Basin trail to the south east.
